Following recent concerns arising from the adjustment of campus shuttle fares to 150, particularly regarding the challenge of obtaining #50 change and reports of undue charges, the 36th LASU SUG executives led by the President Comr. Adebayo Korede peter and the In-House Committee on Transportation held a meeting with shuttle operators to address these issues.

After extensive deliberation, the following resolutions were reached:
Shuttle drivers are to accept bank transfers from students who do not have exact change, and if they can’t accept bank transfers, the shuttle drivers should be ready to forfeit #50 from the #150 in replacement for 100.
Students who cannot transfer should also be ready to pay 200.
All shuttle buses must have displayed at the front for easy identification numbers clearly.
Students are strongly encouraged to report any cases of extortion or non-compliance by drivers.
These measures are aimed at ensuring fairness, accountability, and the protection of students from any form of exploitation.
IGBEGA LASUSU remains committed to safeguarding the welfare of all LASUites and will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure full compliance.
