DELSU bans Sign-out Parties on Campus

This is to inform members of the University Community, particularly, all final year students that Management has placed a ban on “Sign Out” parties and all forms of unruly celebrations within the University campuses.

This directive is in response to security concerns, intelligence reports, and the need to safeguard lives and property during the 2025/2026 second semester/final year Examinations, Students are therefore advised to desist from any activity capable of disrupting peace, endangering lives, or compromising the security of the university community.

Management wishes to remind all students that such acts constitute misconduct and attract disciplinary sanctions, including rustication for up to two (2) semesters, as provided the students union constitution and other extant university regulations. (see page 53 of Delta State University, Abraka Students Union Constitution).

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Samuel O. Asagba has further directed the University Security Personnel to arrest and handover any student found violating this directive for appropriate disciplinary actions.
