The Lead City University, Ibadan, has released its Postgraduate College Academic Calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, outlining the schedule of academic activities for the first and second semesters.
The calendar provides the dates for the commencement of semesters, lectures, Christmas/New Year break, resumption, revision, induction and examinations.
First Semester of Lead City University
The first semester will officially commence on Monday, 28th September 2026.
The Christmas and New Year break will run from Monday, 21st December 2026 to Friday, 8th January 2027, with resumption from the break scheduled for Monday, 11th January 2027.
The first semester revision period is scheduled to hold from Friday, 26th February to Thursday, 4th March 2027.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, 3rd March 2027.
The first semester examination will take place from Friday, 5th March to Friday, 19th March 2027.
Second Semester of Lead City University
The second semester is scheduled to commence on Monday, 1st March 2027.
Lectures for the second semester are scheduled to begin on Friday, 19th March 2027.
The second semester revision period will run from Friday, 2nd July to Thursday, 8th July 2027.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, 7th July 2027.
The second semester examination will hold from Friday, 9th July to Friday, 23rd July 2027.
