The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced its 192nd Inaugural Lecture, inviting members of the general public and friends of the University to attend the academic event.
The lecture, titled “Radio and the Firmament: A Marriage of Heaven and Earth,” will be delivered by Professor Adekunle Titus Adediji, MURSI (NG), MNIP, MNMEIS, MIEEE, a Professor of Communication Physics at the University.
Professor Adediji holds a B.Sc. (Ed) degree from the University of Ilorin and M.Tech. and Ph.D degrees from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
The inaugural lecture is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 10th February, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. prompt at the Obafemi Awolowo Auditorium, FUTA. Guests are expected to be seated by 2:45 p.m.
The event will be chaired by Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, FAS, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
The announcement was formally signed by the Registrar, Mr. C. O. Adeleye.
