Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has welcomed assessment teams from the National Universities Commission (NUC), Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QRSBN), and Nigerian Institute of Animal Scientists (NIAS). The assessment will determine the readiness of six newly introduced academic programmes.
A courtesy visit took place on Monday, 10th February 2025, at the Academic Publishing Centre (APC), Main Campus.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, highlighted the need for peer reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
He stated that the evaluation will help improve the university’s academic offerings.
The NUC team, made up of 15 panel members, will assess the following courses under the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT):
In addition, QRSBN will evaluate B.Tech. Quantity Surveying, while NIAS will assess B.Tech. Animal Production.
The accreditation ensures that the courses meet academic and industry standards.
