Foundation to award SMEs grants and student scholarships tomorrow

Tomorrow, September 22, 2022, at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, the Lateefah Moyosore Durosinmi Foundation (LMDF) will present the eighth edition of its annual scholarship awards to students and grants to women on small enterprises.

Dr. Mistura Sanni, the foundation’s spokesman, said that 39 new scholarships would be awarded to children in basic and secondary schools, and five additional students will get financial support.

She noted that 33 women operating small enterprises would receive funding, and three would receive sewing machines and machinery for producing nylon.

She claims that Ife Central Local Council and the six states in the South-West zone are responsible for choosing the recipients.

According to her, the organization would have awarded 164 women 245 scholarships and grants with the help of these 2022 prizes.
